We have one spot left for Traditional Craft 2025 - Build a stick chair with Don Weber (ADVANCED WORKSHOP) Come spend 5 days with us at the Berea Makerspace as we each build our own Welsh Stick Chair. These are early forms of solid wooden seat chairs, utilizing hand carving, and green woodworking. This is an Advanced Workshop - please come in with some experience with hand tools and hand tool woodworking already. As always, with our traditional craft series, brought to you through a grant from the Appalachian Fund at Berea College, this is a pay what you can workshop. Furniture classes are expensive, and for good reason! But with the opportunity afforded us by our grant, and hundreds of hours of volunteer labor, we continue our mission to bring better access to tools, knowledge and workspace, to Berea and central kentucky.
