Path of Logic

Path of Logic is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to improving cancer diagnostics and outcomes, with a focus on equatorial Africa. Established in Durango, Colorado, it obtained tax-exempt status in November 2016.

Mission and Activities

The organization primarily focuses on pathology education, laboratory procedural enhancements, diagnostic capacity building, and technology advancements. Its efforts are particularly concentrated in Uganda, where it has worked to enhance pathology services and improve cancer management.

• Pathology Enhancements: Path of Logic has facilitated the transition from paper-based to electronic pathology record systems, which aids in generating timely reports and serving as a repository for results. • Community Engagement: Coming in 2025, Path of Logic plans to distribute an animated film in southwestern Uganda to educate women about breast cancer and encourage early screening. This initiative seeks to reduce delayed diagnoses and improve survival rates through rapid and accurate testing.
