PRN Alumni Family, It's with a heavy heart that I share more difficult news. This week has been incredibly tough for our community as we've lost another beloved member, Catherine Vernice Glover, known to many of us as Cat. Cat was an extraordinary talent who left an indelible mark on Prince's artistry and our lives. Many of you will remember her incredible work choreographing and appearing in Prince's videos and the "Sign o' the Times" concert film. Her contributions as a backing vocalist and dancer on the Sign o' the Times and Lovesexy tours were unforgettable. Who can forget her iconic "Cat Scat" move in the "U Got The Look" video? I had the pleasure of working with Cat on many tours. She was a kind-spirited person whose talent was matched only by her warmth and generosity. Her creative input, from choreography to her rap on "Cindy C." and "Alphabet St.", helped shape the Prince sound and aesthetic we all know and love. Cat's legacy extends beyond her work with Prince. She continued to create and inspire in London and Los Angeles, pursuing her own musical projects and choreography. To lose JayBe and Cat in such a short time is a profound blow to our community.
