Rio Vista Elementary PTA is a volunteer-led child-advocacy organization which supports rigorous and relevant educational experiences challenging all children from K-5th grade to become caring, competent, and responsible community citizens, and motivating each child to achieve his/her full potential. The PTA serves 700+ students annually and strongly believes that every child has the right to a college-ready education, and it is our collective responsibility to support and facilitate exceptional transformative experiences and systems that can make those goals possible. Rio Vista is a Title I school in the Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District. The majority of students identify as Latino and are socioeconomically disadvantaged, while nearly half are English Learners.
