MIP is dedicated to presenting yearly theater in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, free of charge. The mission of Molière in the Park (MIP) is to promote empathy and unity within the diverse communities in Brooklyn through the arts. We offer free opportunities for all to come together in Prospect Park and experience the benefits of theater. MIP’s vision is of a Brooklyn where all communities can benefit equally from access to theater and the Arts. Molière in the Park is an inclusive and antiracist theater organization, and our casting, hiring, and programming decisions reflect these values.

We are thrilled to be able to keep bringing free productions to Brooklyns backyard Prospect Park. In this time of division and unrest we believe that live theater can unite and heal. Molires plays written in France 350 years ago may seem like unlikely vehicles to look at the social and political issues of our times but surprisingly they always question confront provoke and demand that we pay attention.
