You may have noticed something new in our front hallway. We are now a host site for a Flag Retirement Box, built by Jacob Murphy. He built the box for the library as part of his Eagle Scout Service Project. The box is designed to serve as a place for people to drop off their old, worn, and tattered American Flags for Troop 1006 to collect and retire properly. (fb)

Do you yearn for the days of your middle school spelling bee? The Friends of the Ohio County Public Library are bringing back the spelling bee, all grown up. There are two teams left, so you can go head-to-head with other spellers, or you can watch from the audience. All proceeds go to support the Library. Hope to see you there! (fb)
