Harwood Memorial Park (HMP) was established “to acquire and improve lands to be used for a memorial park for the recreational betterment of the people of Laytonville and to promote philanthropic activity in order to mitigate social evils.” Laytonville Healthy Start Family Resource Center’s mission is to help create “a safe, supportive community environment that promotes prosperity, self-reliance, and positive relationships among community members.” Vision: Healthy people in a safe community
