NEMDA is the AKC parent club for the Entlebucher Mountain Dog. The National Entlebucher Mountain Dog Association (NEMDA), established in 1998, is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to be the guardian for the preservation of this unique dog breed. NEMDA serves the amazing Entlebucher Mountain Dog breed and their owners by promoting healthy and responsible breeding, monitoring the health and wellness of Entlebuchers, providing education on the breed standard, teaching and encouraging participation in training and activities for dog performance sports and conformation shows, and engaging socially with the Entlebucher community. The American Kennel Club (AKC) recognizes NEMDA as the official National Parent Breed Club of the Entlebucher Mountain Dog.
