Innovation is often triggered by technology which leads to clinical insight then resulting in even more advanced tools. By definition progress originates from interdisciplinary engagement and this is what the International Ocular Circulation Society IOCS represents most comprehensively. The biennial meetings are designed to provide a platform covering the most exciting innovations from basic and clinical research as a ground for interactive discussion between representatives of the whole spectrum from hardware to software to clinical use.
