The time capsule is taking shape... ⏲️🔨 In January, we launched a time capsule to celebrate our 35th anniversary, with items to be added throughout this special year before it will be buried for 100 years on the Dumfries House estate. The original box was made from oak by Aiden Lawley, an alumni of our furniture school. Some additional touches have since been added to the time capsule by our students and alumni, including hinges by blacksmith Ian Thackray with input and design from some of our current students. The time capsule also features painted detailing by Tessa Mackenzie and carving of our logo by woodcarver Sarah Goss. Next week, the time capsule will be heading to London where it will be on show at our King's Foundation Awards ceremony 🥳 (fb)
