Our mission is to aid in the establishment of justice and peace through the sharing of culture.
Founded in 1990, as a vehicle for cultural education and expression, Moyo is Colorado’s 1st multi-disciplinary Pan-African cultural arts center. We empower children of color with greater self- respect and self-awareness. Giving rise to the center’s Kiswahili name Moyo Nguvu meaning “Strength of Heart”.
