Based in Central Virginia, we provide assistance in under-resourced communities by offering spay and neuter services, fencing, insulated dog houses, vet care, dog food, and supplies. Our adoption and foster programs unite animals with their forever homes. We also advocate for humane legislation and educate community members on animal welfare.

We do not know how Diego has spent nearly six months in the shelter because in the short amount of time he's been with us he has shown us what a truly special pup he is. Diego LOVES people—he’s a world-class snuggler and the perfect couch companion for your next Netflix binge. He also enjoys leisurely walks with his favorite humans and has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes everyone who meets him fall in love.
