WellKind - The Future is Well

We're an emerging NGO based in the Bay Area, working within communities on programs that lie at the intersection of personal, ecological and economic wellness. The future is well. At Wellkind, we work at the intersection of personal, community and planetary health to sow the seeds of wellness for generations to come. Join us👇🏼🌿 WE GIVE LOCAL LEADERS THE RESOURCES TO CULTIVATE ECONOMIC AND ECOLOGICAL WELLNESS FOR THEIR COMMUNITIES AND THE EARTH. WellKind provides leadership training and ecological and economic resources from a perspective that recognizes local leadership, systems thinking, and our inherent connection to nature. We focus on local leaders because we know the best solutions are place-based and culturally appropriate. Our work is to support these leaders as partners and collaborators to facilitate the emergence of locally-appropriate solutions from the communities themselves, and provide the resources needed to help make them happen. We look at the whole system, intentionally designing programs that work towards community resilience - helping communities build the capacity to meet their own needs.

Advancing Sustainable Solutions We empower communities in the Western Highlands of Guatemala to lead reforestation and conservation efforts by integrating indigenous wisdom with evidencebased strategies. Fostering a Sustainable Environment for Future Generations Wellkind works with the indigenous communities of Lake Atitlan and the Western Highlands of Guatemala to help protect the natural resources of the area for generations to come. We have built an amazing team of young local changemakers who were born and raised in the neighborhoods where we work. Our organization has established deep ties in each village and created impactful programs that stem directly from the communities needs.
