The foundation's mission is to encourage and support students with backgrounds that have been historically under-represented in the advanced pursuit of classical vocal study. Beneficiaries are students admitted to study in the Division of Music at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas in pursuit of Undergraduate degrees, Graduate degrees, Artist Diplomas and Artist Certificates.

Foote Scholarship Foundation Awarding scholarships since 1989 the Foundations mission is to encourage and support students with a background that has been historically underrepresented in the advanced pursuit of classical vocal study. Scholarships are awarded in Masters and Artist Certificate Programs at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas. FEATURED SCHOLARS Amanda Kosi AMANDA KOSI soprano began the MM program and entered the 2018 NATS Competition winning first place and the Grady Harlan Award given to the singer in the competition with the most outstanding career potential.
