Central Alabama Marines-Council
Developing tomorrow’s leaders while promoting educational initiatives that nurture the young minds of military and veterans’ children. Our Council has four focus areas within the community: Leadership, Education, Advocacy, & Preservation. Founded in February of 2024, Central Alabama Marines-Council is a nonprofit corporation organized to enhance the focal point of support for U.S. Military and Veteran families residing within the central Alabama region. Our Board of Directors—also called the “Council”—is a diverse group of Veteran Marines and business leaders dedicated to shaping the next generation of leaders. Through the delivery of innovative educational initiatives, our charity is uniquely positioned to support and advocate for military and veteran families, along with their adolescent and school-aged children. Central Alabama Marines-Council has no members and the board of directors serve without compensation. Further, the charity is not affiliated with the United States Marine Corps or any other government entity.
