ARF's mission is to match pets with people. We take in dogs from all walks of life, care for them, and help them find their fur-ever home! The mission of Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome the abused, abandoned, and stray companion animals of the Acadiana region in the state of Louisiana. We are a "no-kill" shelter, dedicated to saving as many dogs from an untimely death as we can afford and have space for. Each animal is fully vetted, made whole and healthy, trained and then matched with just the right person so that the "forever" will be true in "forever home."

About Us Contact Us Matching Pets with People The mission of Animal Rescue Foundation Inc of LouisianaARFLAis to provide appropriate veterinary care proper nourishment shelter and adoption services for stray abandoned andunwanted dogs and then place them in loving homes through our adoption process. All animals are fully vetted and temperament tested before adoption. We have a network of foster homes where our pets are housed until they find their new homes. Qualified adoptive families are selected through an application process focused on the welfare of the dog and the need to place each dog in an appropriate environment given the individual dogs background temperament and needs.
