Arkansas nursing home owner, Joseph Schwartz, has been sentenced to 3.5 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to Medicaid fraud and tax evasion. He stole millions while residents and staff suffered. He pocketed funds meant for patient care and failed to pay hundreds of thousands in taxes. Sadly, this kind of thing goes on too often.
