Different By Design - Prairie Hill Waldorf School

For over 30 years, Prairie Hill has been utilizing an innovative approach to learning, graduating students who are capable, confident and courageous. At first glance, Waldorf may seem dramatically different from mainstream education. We are. Prairie Hill Waldorf School awakens the capacity for dynamic thinking, creativity and compassion, inspiring children to contribute their unique gifts to the world. We are located in southeastern Wisconsin's lake country and serve children from infancy through Grade 8 from a five-county radius. Through the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program, we welcome families who could not otherwise provide their child with a Waldorf education. Prairie Hill is a private, non-sectarian, not-for-profit independent school fully accredited by the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America and the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. Our curriculum upholds the highest principles of academic excellence, artistic expression and craftsmanship in practical work - addressing the gifts and challenges of each student. We believe that imagination is at the heart of learning. Our graduates leave Prairie Hill with skills and knowledge they can call upon no matter what path they choose in life - a keen sense of social responsibility, an abiding love for learning, and the ability to create, communicate and collaborate with others to create real and lasting solutions.
