The mission of Community Health Alliance of Pasadena (ChapCare) is to provide excellent, comprehensive, and innovative healthcare that is accessible to residents of the San Gabriel Valley. Since its inception, community members have played a significant role in the planning and implementation of ChapCare services. ChapCare's area of expertise is its ability to provide high-quality primary healthcare services. Through our team-based primary healthcare model we are able to manage our patients' overall health and well-being.

The Eaton Fire had a profound impact on our community. More than 3,000 of our patients were affected, 16 employees lost their homes, and six clinics were temporarily closed. One of our most beloved clinics, a cornerstone of care in the area, was destroyed. In the face of this loss, our team acted quickly. AltaMed was one of the first organizations to respond at the Pasadena Convention Center evacuation site, setting up temporary health services to continue caring for those who needed us most. We are proud of our team’s resilience and commitment to our mission, even in the toughest moments. (fb)
