Since 1994 the Clean Air Force of Central Texas has worked with partners across the region to keep our air clean and healthy. Clean Air Force of Central Texas The Problem All large cities in Texas deal with air pollution but only Austin remains in Attainment or compliance with the Federal Clean Air ActNAAQS National Ambient Air Quality Standards. All other large cities in Texas are in NonAttainment.
