Tallahassee's Dale Mabry Army Air Field Museum, Inc. is in partnership with Tallahassee Community Co VISION To establish a museum and educational complex by 2024 in partnership with Tallahassee Community College, where people of all ages leave inspired and changed by what they experience. MISSION To bring the values of our honored past into the present, in preparation for our shared future. PURPOSE To preserve and share Tallahassee’s unique, rich military history and educate Tallahasseans and other visitors about the home front and warfront activities that took place in Tallahassee during WWII through interactive, immersive, “in period” public history displays: to honor the military service of Tallahasseans and all servicemen and women; and to inspire younger generations and those to come, through the stories of "the greatest generation".
