Bringing closure to family and friends is very important and gaining experience for our new K9 members is critical as we've also recently lost our beloved Roscoe who was important to helping us find the lost as well as recoveries. (fb)

We had a refresher for long-timers and training for newer members on safe UTV and ATV driving last night near our HQ. Best practices for climbing, descending or going over obstacles were tried out in turn, as well as navigating an obstacle course forward and backward. Then a quick wash of the vehicles to have them ready for the next call. We moved inside for a look at our wheeled litter setup which is being refined in small but significant ways for speed in deployment as well as patient comfort during transport. It's been raining the past couple days which we have needed and enjoyed, but once the sun comes out we expect it could start to get busy. We hope you all have a safe summer! (fb)
