The mission of the DJH Kids and Community Center is to strengthen the foundations of our community by offering developmental programs that connect our youth with mentors and leaders, by creating high-quality early learning options, by providing access to facilities which afford our community the opportunity to engage recreational, sports-related, and community-driven activities in a fun environment, and to foster, nourish, and provide for the safety, health, and welfare of our youth.

DJHCC DYLAN JUDE HARRELL COMMUNITY CENTER OUR STORY Dylan Jude Harrell was a sweet and sassy fouryearold when she was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma DIPG on August 8th 2018. DIPG is a rare incurable brain cancer that affects 200400 children a year typically between the ages of four to eleven. Dylan bravely battled DIPG without complaint for 20 months and passed away on April 9th 2020. Dylan loved fashion music and her family and friends.
