Happy Summer! As is our custom, we will scale back on email and newsletter correspondence during the month of June to encourage rest and time with family. This will be a great opportunity to refresh students' uniform collections, sell any gently used items they have outgrown, and pick up books needed for the upcoming school year. Power Up – Parent Enrichment Day August 1st, 8:00 a.m, – 4:00 p.m. at the 59 Campus We warmly invite all parents to join us on August 1st for Power Up, a dynamic and enriching day dedicated to parent engagement and community building.This year’s event has been completely reimagined into one power-packed day you won’t want to miss. Power Up is designed to equip parents with valuable insights and practical tools while fostering meaningful connections within our school community. Highlights include: -Targeted sessions for new parents and secondary students -Workshops on key topics such as: -Fostering a Strong Parent/School Partnership -Effective Communication -Impactful Biblical Immersion Deep dives into critical transitions like entering kindergarten, third grade, junior high, and high school Informative sessions on school safety, student health, volunteer opportunities, and more Those interested in participating as Den Defenders at the Brooks St. Campus should plan to attend an introductory orientation session at the start of the day Childcare will be provided. More details to come A detailed schedule with logistical information will be sent out in early July. Back to School Blast Thursday, August 7th B2SB is an all school community orientation. This day includes open houses on each of our campuses and at each grade level, a school-wide assembly, house induction for our secondary students, and other activities to build community. During B2SB, the school year’s theme is unveiled and teachers hand out welcome letters and other information for students. Watch for a detailed schedule for the day later this summer. Secondary Student Retreat Secondary Student Retreat will be held on August 22nd-23rd. The retreat is open to all upcoming 7th - 12th graders.
