The purpose or purposes for which the corporation is formed are: Devota Advocacy Services will utilize several tools available to residents of Michigan facing foreclosure eviction: Devota Advocacy Services will facilitate the preparation and filing of their clients' State and Federal income tax returns, local municipal poverty exemption applications, and Homestead Property Tax Credits, Home Heating Credits, as well as other community, State and Federal relief fund applications (ie. Step Forward Michigan), and also facilitates and engages in referrals to other services related to payment plans for Federal income tax, State income tax, and local property tax with the ultimate goal of financial relief as it pertains to imminent foreclosure and forfeiture of their primary residence.
