Brian D Silber Memorial Fund
The Brian D Silber Memorial Fund is a nonprofit organization supporting spinal tumor research, clinical services, and educational programs. Brian Silber, of Peabody, MA, graduated from St. John's Prep in 1986 and from Tufts Univ in 1990. In 1996 Brian died at age 28 of a malignant spinal cord tumor. Brian's wish was to establish a Fund to improve the outcome for spine tumor patients. THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROMOTE FURTHER RESEARCH INTO SPINAL CORD TUMORS, AND TO SUPPORT CLINICAL CENTERS FOR PERSONS WITH SPINAL CORD TUMORS.
