Welcome to FOF 💜 Hot Dog 🌭 is the sweetest boy. A Good Samaritan had been feeding him and requested medical help for what she described as, ‘buttons stuck in his feet’. That sounded pretty unusual…but we were game to figure out what exactly was ailing this kitty. Once we got him here we understood why she was confused; his severely ingrown and infected nails did actually look like buttons. Hot Dog has an appt today to get this taken care of. We clipped what we could yesterday but some of these are so deep, they need sedation, clipping and thorough cleaning at a vet’s office. With the urgent care fee and sedation with procedure, we anticipate this could run up to $350. But we felt it important to have this handled today with the pain he must be in.
