Established in 2003, the CABEL (Communities Always Bring Extra Love)Foundation is committed to helping youth and families, particularly the disadvantaged, tap into and reach their potential through the appreciation and understanding of the importance of saving and investing in their futures. CABEL's mission is to introduce, educate and encourage youth through Financial Literacy Workshops/Seminars, Entrepreneurship as well as Life and Work Skills Workshops. CABEL envisions impoverished communities becoming sustainable communities through financial literacy as well as community partnerships. CABEL believes that laying a foundation of financial literacy education, responsible consumerism as well as supplemental education and career/life skills training will encourage youth and the community-at-large to make better choices that will allow them to grow and develop into more productive and successful members of society.
