NMAP works w/activists & organizations globally to make progress on complex problems where new narratives, reframing, & unconventional approaches are needed. Building movements and shifting human rights and environmental justice narratives around the world. NMAP 's mission is to advance human rights by merging law with multimedia storytelling to bring the voices of people who have suffered violations into the halls of power. Rather than convey messages, we work with civil society to develop strategic media narratives that change perspectives and increase access to justice for vulnerable communities. We produce audience-focused videos and other media designed to win cases and campaigns, influence policy, mobilize communities, and make technical policy and legal language accessible. NMAP uses its expertise in filmmaking, law, advocacy, and storytelling to work towards an expansive vision of the human rights movement.
