Empowering young people to own their economic success. Volunteer for Junior Achievement and help mentor the next generation of employees and employers! The mission of Junior Achievement is to prepare and inspire young people to succeed in a global economy Junior Achievement (JA) empowers young people to own their economic success by delivering entrepreneurship, workforce readiness and financial literacy programs to students in grades K-12. Each JA program contains hands-on activities that align with NYS/Common Core learning standards and encourage innovation, creativity and critical thinking. JA programs have been independently evaluated for efficacy, and are taught by an experienced volunteer who brings real- life examples of success into the classroom and makes everyday lessons in math, social studies and English/language arts relevant to the real world.
