June is PTSD Awareness Month! We kicked it off with a BBQ! When we think of PTSD, we don't think of a bunch of people getting together and laughing, sharing a meal, or feeling at peace. I can assure you yesterday was just that! A bunch of people who took a chance on wanting connection, not wanting to feel so alone, and wanting to find peace! Here at Cast, we want you to know we understand. We have experienced the darkness, still do sometimes, but we don't go at it alone as much anymore! We took the chance and found a bunch of people who understand. We hate that they understand the pain because they have lived it, but also appreciate the connection we don't have to explain. We're here, we understand, and we would love to take you fishing with us! (fb)
