Mission Statement: The Peacekeeper Initiative was founded to address mental health issues facing active duty and retired first responders, veterans and others through peer-to-peer mentoring, wellness activities to reduce stress, mental health and substance abuse group therapy, and referral to mental health or other healthcare professionals when necessary for individual treatment. We seek to provide a safe and supportive environment outside of the workplace, where the first responder can feel comfortable in seeking the help they need. We serve Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties in the State of Florida. We follow Biblical principles, but, we do not discriminate against people of other faiths or who do not ascribe to any faith at all.
