What more can be said during Small Business Month without talking about Hunt & Homestead! A local small business who started out making goats milk soaps and lotions and selling them at arts & craft fairs and farmers markets, moving into small boutiques and local stores. Within the last year or so, Andrea has taken her business plan to a whole new level of entrepreneurship. Not only has she expanded to small boutiques and shops in Teller and El Paso Counties, and Denver area, she moved on to the Southeastern area of the US in Tennessee and Florida! Recently she has taken over the lower floor of Great Outdoor Adventures on Hey 24 and opened her own retail space featuring local artists and artisans, who have a cozy, permanent space to sell their goods and make their product.
