Biblically Reformed Baptist Church—a thriving community of Christ followers, striving together for the faith of the gospel! Above all we desire that Christ receive the glory, honor, and praise that only He deserves. The church belongs to Him. We believe that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). We teach through the Bible verse by verse in order to present the full counsel of God. Theology, or truth about God, must come from His word alone.We hold to the theological concepts of the Christian Protestant Reformation in that we believe that the Bible is the only source of faith and practice for all men. The bible teaches that salvation comes through grace alone, (it is unmerited), through faith alone, (it is not based on our works)(Ephesians 2:8-10), in Christ alone, (John 14:6), as taught in the Word of God alone, (2 Timothy 3:16, John 5:39), and God alone is worthy of Glory. (Jude 1:24, Isa 46:9-11)Family:At New Life Baptist Church we seek to train husbands and wives to love one another and respond to one another Biblically. We also take seriously the Biblical mandate to train children “in the training and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). We have monthly men's meetings and women's Bible studies to help encourage parents to carry out the roles that God has given them. We impact the world around us by having families that truly live for the glory of God. To support this, many of our church functions are family integrated which means all ages meeting together. Doing so gives both parents and children the opportunity to fellowship, worship and serve together. Edifying the church:One of the church's primary functions is to equip God's people to live their lives set apart to God. We equip God's people through sound teaching and Christian fellowship. Evangelizing the lost:Holy lives along with truthful preaching of the gospel of Christ is the Biblical plan to impact the world around for God's glory. Men must be urged to repent of their sins and have faith in the work of Christ on the cross. In ministering to our families and the lost around us we teach Biblical salvation that is by grace and not by good works. Good works don't produce salvation but always accompany true salvation. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:8-10).
