Follow Message Edit

Tampa Bay Harvest, Inc.'s mission is "Working to end hunger in our community". This is done when volunteers collect perfectly edible food overages from restaurants, supermarkets, hospitals, schools and the like, immediately delivering those overages free of charge to area charities feeding the needy of our community. Volunteers in the Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties of Florida use their own vehicle to pickup and deliver this much needed food resource. Since 1989 TBH volunteers have rescued and delivered in excess of 67 million pounds of food that would have otherwise been thrown away. The food was used to feed the needy of the community.
