We offer housing, in-home support, community inclusion programs, case management, and two Spindleworks Art Centers. OUr People Independence Association supports more than 350 individuals and families in Midcoast and Central Maine. At IA we believe that the communities we serve are stronger when they are diverse. That is why ensuring the inclusion of people with disabilities in the community has been a fundamental principle since our founding in 1966.
