About Us About the Rescue Unos Home for Wayward Cats Dogs was established in October of 2020 as a 501c3 nonprofit based in the Birmingham area of Alabama. It has always been the dream of our director Kendahl Schnell who has a degree in zoology to start a rescue. The rescue specializes in socializing and providing medical care of animals in need and finding them forever homes.
