The Latino Theater Company (LTC) celebrates over 32 years of commitment to the creation of exciting, thought-provoking theater in Los Angeles. Latino Theater Co. at The LATC celebrates over 30 + years of commitment to the creation of exciting, thought-provoking theater in Los Angeles. The Latino TheaterCompany’s mission at the Los Angeles Theatre Center is to provide a world-classcultural arts center for those pursing artistic excellence; a laboratory whereboth tradition and innovation are honored and honed; a space where theconvergence of people, cultures, and ideas contribute to the future.  The Los Angeles Theatre Center is aone-of-a-kind center where bringing together culturally diverse artists andaudiences is the core of its mission, serving nearly 45,000 visitors per year byproducing four professional (Actors’ Equity Association contract) performancesand presenting or co-producing with other arts organizations a dozen smallerEquity-waiver performances in the historic building’s four theatre spaces.  Educational programs include youth literacyprojects and a Youth Summer Conservatory that provides theatrical training,academic coaching and tutelage in life skills for underserved high schoolstudents, with the unprecedented long-term aim of establishing an accreditedinstitute for professional actors of color.
