BLUEGRASS SOLDIERS AND STRAYS INC
We are a Central Kentucky nonprofit organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, safer place for our homeless veterans with a canine companion. We offer a small, private residential setting for homeless veterans with a canine companion unable to secure traditional housing. We work alongside our veteran to promote healthy lifestyle choices and provide support in their journey by offering an alternative to homelessness. Our case by case goal is to develop a transitional housing plan, bridging homelessness into successful independent living. We are also actively committed to assisting with local companion animals in need through private and community education, rescue, rescue partnership, and transport.
