Shepherd Care International defines Care Shepherds as those whom Christian organizations have appointed to help their ministry leaders traverse the rugged terrain of personal and ministry obstacles. Life is difficult enough but one under a magnifying glass constantly examined and criticized can cause a ministry leader to become hurt disillusioned discouraged and ultimately leave their ministry assignment. Care Shepherds offer a safe and confidential relationship with ministry leaders on their team and provide support encouragement and counsel leading to increased health and ministry success.
