In the case of affordable housing initiatives, The SEPP Group is proud to be part of a collaborative team effort with the Broome County Land Bank. Over the last several years, SEPP has fostered a great working relationship with the Land Bank. The dedication and forward thinking approach of Land Bank Chair, Aaron Martin, Executive Director Jess Haas, and Deputy Director Rob O’Donnell has been instrumental in transforming blighted or underutilized properties into thriving space for affordable housing. Since 2019, SEPP has collaborated with the Land Bank to complete the rehabilitation and subsequent sale of several residential properties in our area. In addition, SEPP is acting as the certifying authority as it relates to income eligibility for each of the Land Bank sales. Collaborative partnerships like ours builds a stronger, more vibrant community, where affordable housing and opportunity are within reach for everyone. (fb)
