Antelope Valley CERT members learn essential skills and capabilities to prepare for and respond to any disaster through handson practice and realistic exercises. Our Mission The Antelope Valley Community Emergency Response Team AV CERT provides disaster preparedness training to the public on the hazards that may impact our desert rural communities. Trained in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety light search rescue team organization amateur radio and disaster medical operations our civilian volunteer teams throughout the Antelope Valley provide critical auxiliary support to emergency services personnel during emergencies disasters and help to increase the Antelope Valley39s overall level of disaster readiness.
