A non-profit animal rescue and sanctuary based just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. Velvet Acres Animal Rescue exists to provide shelter, care, and a safe refuge to unwanted and homeless animals, as well as improve the lives of animals in the community through spay-neuter programs, public education, and owner-support programs.
