The Gamma Alpha Psi Zeta Chapter encourages higher education achievement; develops and engages in community service; espouses sisterhood by strengthening relationships; and demonstrates finer womanhood as per the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Following several meetings and other organizational efforts Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated Gamma Alpha Psi Zeta Chapter was chartered in Kankakee Illinois in the year of the Zeta Phi Beta Centennial celebrations on December 15 2020.
