TO PROVIDE OCULAR TISSUE RECOVERY SERVICES IN A ELEVEN PARISH AREA AND PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE EYE/CORNEA DONATIONS. DISTRIBUTION OF TISSUE FOR TRANSPLANT, RESEARCH AND EDUCATION. MAINTENANCE OF ONGOING REPORTING AND DOCUMENTING OF NON-CONFORMANCE INCIDENTS. MAINTENANCE OF A RECIPIENT WAITING LIST FROM AREA OPHTHALMOLOGISTS. CONTINUAL DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE EYE BANK PROGRAM.

For patients with corneal blindness the restoration of their sight depends on cornea donations. When you register to become a donor you create the opportunity for your legacy to live on while positively impacting the lives of others and providing them with the miracle of sight. Since our founding in 1976 we have helped restore sight to 4000 people and counting.
