The Association of Chiringueros USA is a non-profit organization created by natives of Chiringo who are residents in the United States. Chiringo is located in Villa Riva, a municipality of the Duarte Province (San Francisco de Macoris) in the north of the Dominican Republic. Chiringo is one of the less develop community in the country where electricity was only partially installed in 2002. The Association was created with the purpose of helping those less fortunate in the Chiringo community, especially senior citizens with disabilities and those poor children who are the future of the world. The children in this community do not have a basketball court, a library or Community center where they could go to learn and do any physical activities.
