Fusion Community Empowerment Empowering Communities Nourishing Lives. The Problem The 2023 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count reveals a significant challenge with an estimated 75518 people experiencing homelessness on any given night in LA County and 46260 in the city of Los Angeles. The count indicates that while the number of sheltered homeless individuals has remained stable compared to the previous year the number of unsheltered individuals has increased. In addition to housing insecurity food insecurity is also a pressing issue.
