We create opportunities for changemakers to think, experiment and learn together, and generate strategies for a more equitable and nonviolent future. linktr.ee/liberatoryinstitute The mission of the Institute for Liberatory Innovation is to generate and implement innovative strategies in response to urgent social challenges, so that more people thrive in ever more peace. The urgent social challenge that has been our focus since our founding is increasing ideological rigidity, fear of difference and rejection of pluralism. This challenge is often expressed as aggressive resistance to initiatives for equity in schools and organizations, and increasing expressed in violence and bigotry regardless of political inclinations. Our overarching strategy as we approach that challenge is to focus on changing behavior, rather than beliefs, and to mitigate fear of both change and difference.
