Compost Culture
Compost Culture is a nonprofit organization dedicated to composting for the environment and cultivating a culture of sustainability. We provide a curbside organics pickup service as well as a Farmer's Market Outreach and education program. Every year millions of tons of food are discarded and sent to landfills. This accelerates climate change, causing the earth to warm, sea levels to rise, and breaking down of the ozone layer. A vital step to decreasing our carbon footprint is practicing responsible waste disposal. Fortunately, composting drastically reduces the amount of methane produced by organic food waste. We provide both a curbside pickup program and subsidized composters so you can start composting in your own garden. Our goal is to make environmentally sustainable habits as accessible as possible. Through supporting our organization, you are helping us create a culture of sustainability. Leave the habits of yesterday behind and lets start fighting for a better tomorrow.
