👏 This past Saturday, 24 dedicated students of WIPA (Welcome, Integrate, Promote, Accompany), a workforce experience service offered by the Catholic Charities Office of Mission, completed a transformative 12-week journey through elder care, childcare, and domestic cleaning courses, culminating in worker justice training. With certifications from Cornell’s WeRise Program, they're ready to make an impact! 🤩 🌟👌 Special thanks to Fr. Next up, we’re excited to kick off handyman training for a new group. Our new students are diving into the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) CIVICS Program as part of their WIPA training. Our dedicated case managers are ready to guide them, ensuring connections to cooperatives and our Catholic Charities Moving Forward Job Development Center for successful placements.
